Drop Mood

December 2020: the Covid19 pandemic has changed the way of life for each one of us, limiting our freedom to express ourselves and meet up and get together. In this context, the mask does not act as a barrier between us but it is used to silence our countenance and allows us to focus solely on the music, a true channel for our emotions.
“Drop Mood” is a project by Eddy Giunchi and Miki Corsetti, which represents the culmination of over 15 years of musical collaboration.

The name “Drop Mood” plays on the double meaning of the word “Drop” referring to both a tear and to the moment of a bursting musical explosion in an EDM genre piece, while “Mood” refers to the different moods or state of mind of man.
Both concepts are represented by the face behind the masks we wear.

“Drop Mood” music is characterized by a continuous
search for balance between acoustic and electronic sounds. The union of guitar and synth sounds creates a unique and unmistakable EDM sound.
This musical philosophy is used both in unreleased songs and in the composition of mashups, created by mixing famous EDM songs to great classics of Rock music.
