Drowning In Blood is a thrash metal 4-piece from Montreal with epic harmonies, headcrushing riffs and themes of war, freedom, revolution and liberty. Their music displays influence from <a href="spotify:artist:2ye2Wgw4gimLv2eAKyk1NB" data-name="Metallica">Metallica</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1Yox196W7bzVNZI7RBaPnf" data-name="Megadeth">Megadeth</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1IQ2e1buppatiN1bxUVkrk" data-name="Slayer">Slayer</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:76S65NHJHrNy4JTrXHP2BH" data-name="Exodus">Exodus</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0WVXlaglIOtQueNbucPjZ0" data-name="Toxic Holocaust">Toxic Holocaust</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3BM0EaYmkKWuPmmHFUTQHv" data-name="Kreator">Kreator</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5Qb7CFfWNE9rlymfrFp5A2" data-name="Suicidal Angels">Suicidal Angels</a> with some hints of Melodic Death Metal and a modern twist in the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:4UKKKGkjNWx8KTUvea66k1" data-name="Warbringer">Warbringer</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2jw4wgixxa20jls9N3Bdpq" data-name="Havok">Havok</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2Ah9OuOj7B57gPD1cbwiaE" data-name="Municipal Waste">Municipal Waste</a>.

The band was originally formed of drummer Noah Muller (ex-False Gods), bassist Mathieu Brunet (Tribal Bones, Atomic Threat), and lead guitarist/singer Christophe Michaud (<a href="spotify:artist:0Nky7j5KZiSj5jaUfW8f2H" data-name="Grimhold">Grimhold</a>). After a couple of shows, the band decided to get a second guitarist in order to make live performances more complete and they hired Justin Boisvert (Grimhold). After parting ways with Mathieu for personal reasons, the band hired Nicolas Tremblay (ex-False Gods, Eons Of Serenity) as new bassist.

The band released its debut EP <a href="spotify:album:5ioxNvOS94KVzugogIK6k5" data-name="Crush The Weak">Crush The Weak</a> at the end of 2021 and slowly made their way through the local scene before releasing their single <a href="spotify:album:4bwxanMvYsWNnnH9tnyU2N" data-name="Resist, Revolt!">Resist, Revolt!</a> in 2022. With many international touring plans in the works, their latest album <a href="spotify:album:0PSm0thYBwGjCbX51jO9eG" data-name="You&#39;ve Won... But At What Cost?">You&#39;ve Won... But At What Cost?</a> has been released on August 9th.
