DRS “Divine Righteous Soul” Born and raised in Colorado Springs Colorado DRS Takes us on a euphoric journey with his very 1st album“Defining R Self”;With songs that will make you bob your head or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the journey in his production, arrangements, harmonies and beautiful melodies. He tends to draw inspiration from all things that around him and makes it apparent in the lyrics he writes. Some of the artists he’s inspired by is Lauryn hill, Erykah Badu, Ari Lennox, J.cole, Anthony Hamilton, Dru Hill and Jacob Banks, and so much more. This project is a very special one to due to the fact that DRS moved from Colorado to Minneapolis Mn in 2013 to earn his degree in audio production he would then graduate in 2016 From IPR college of creative arts. This gave DRS the ability to really make his project special and done the right way He wouldn’t settle for anything less than quality production and quality music. In doing this he was so critical of him self, he decided to work with many local artists to help develop not only his craft, but the artists that had ideas they needed to come to life and after doing this repetitively for 3 years it took an additional 3 years to apply all he learned to other artists music and incorporate all of the production techniques to his own craft to make it unique. You will not be let down by putting this Artist in your playlist. Everybody needs some feel good music in their life.
