From an early age, while growing up in Cape Town, South Africa he discovered a strong passion for making music. As a self-produced artist DSB has earned alot to put to his name. In 2018 DSB reached number 1 song on the local internatioal charts for 2 consecutive weeks. Shortly after, was featured on the Ultra South Africa 2018 Compilation Album.
His first studio album 'Do My Thing' released in 2016 gave birth to the artist we hear today and is what propelled him into making his second. 'Beautiful Tragedy', released in 2020, really gives a glimpse into the vast variety DSB has to offer as a vocalist, producer and all round artist.
