Devon Sullivan-Pettit aka “DSP” was born in Superior, WI. His love for music started at a young age, listening to artists like <a href="spotify:artist:3TVXtAsR1Inumwj472S9r4" data-name="Drake">Drake</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0c173mlxpT3dSFRgMO8XPh" data-name="Big Sean">Big Sean</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6l3HvQ5sa6mXTsMTB19rO5" data-name="J. Cole">J. Cole</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:1anyVhU62p31KFi8MEzkbf" data-name="Chance the Rapper">Chance the Rapper</a>.
He started creating music in 2017 using type beats on Audacity, and posted his first singles and EP on SoundCloud. He later started making beats in 2018 and focused on becoming an artist and producer in the music industry.
He released his first single on major streaming platforms in 2019 with “Gotta Choose.” He later dropped his first EP “100K” in 2020 on New Years Day. DSP dropped 3 singles in 2020 experimenting and searching for his sound. He than dropping his first independent album “Finding Myself” in March of 2021. Devon searches to find his sound on this project experimenting with his vocals and production. Collaborating with <a href="spotify:artist:02gxa3HE5O0zBKRjeDh6Ba" data-name="Mission">Mission</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5SFIn1HDSaEdH2xEu0FzmY" data-name="D3rf">D3rf</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6mjDlBKzYcYavIYfOfQLKi" data-name="BigGucciDame">BigGucciDame</a> on the project.
You can tell if a song is produced by Devon if you can hear his signature tag on the song “Hey Devon, Devon come here.” Devon is a self produced artist, and owns 100% of every song he’s put out. He’s produced and engineered for local artists, but hopes to work with bigger artists in the industry in the future.
