Dubyouth Soundsystem is an electronic music group from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, founded in the early 2000s by Heruwa (a.k.a Poppa Tee, the alias he uses in the Dubyouth project) and Metzdub. The name "Dubyouth" derives from the term "youth who love dub music," reflecting their passion for the genre.
They are known for blending various musical genres such as reggae, dub, jungle, hip-hop, ragga, house, and other urban elements, creating an energetic and distinctive atmosphere in each of their performances.
After years of performing at various events, they released their first full album in 2012. This album solidified their position in Indonesia’s electronic music scene and brought them to perform on various stages, both small and large.
