Dublaw

Known for his consistent dub productions over the last 10 years, Dublaw (aka Jordan Shaw) took the whole crowd by surprise as he spent 3 months secretly producing an entire DNB set to close the Dance Tent on the last night of Solfest 2019.

A pivotal moment in his career, the West Yorkshire based producer took this as an opportunity to develop a brand new platform, DNBLAW, in which he will use to promote a diverse range of his drum & bass productions.

A classically trained musician and a keen audio engineer, Jordan has spent the last three years experimenting with a wide range of music genres, though his sound always emits a strong sense of melody and a driving rhythm that stems back to his roots in dub.

As a mastering engineer, Jordan holds a 1st-class BSc (hons) in Audio Engineering & Production, from his time studying at Futureworks in Manchester. He also worked for 3 years at Continuum Dubplates, Huddersfield's dedicated cutting house and mastering studio, one of the few facilities in the world for cutting vinyl records.
