Anglo-Welsh duo with a knack for crafting superb songs with an Americana / Folk vein. Duffy & Bird are Tricia Duffy on lead vocals and Al Bird on vocals and guitar. Hailing from Portsmouth and Cardiff respectively, the pair met in 2015 when they were recruited into a Surrey based covers band. They bonded over a mutual love of an incredibly wide range of musical genres from opera to jazz, to hair metal and everything in between. The duo's blend of vocals with Duffy’s warmth and clarity creates a beautiful and emotive harmonic effect. Betraying Al’s roots in rock, their songs combine fluid singing with cleverly precise guitar arrangements.
The pair started to write and record original music in 2017. Their debut album '5 Lines' was released in November 2017 and their EP 'Spirit Level' was released in 2019.
Tricia Duffy subsequently launched a solo career under the artist name Little Lore, with an acclaimed self named EP released in 2021.
