Dus-Tun

While in its core it is a Doom/Stoner project, Dus-Tun originally started as a cover band by Guitarist Milad Ghaleh and long time friend Mahnaz. A few cover tracks of Iranian Pop songs were recorded and 3 were released. As a result of joining Iranian bands such as Dang Show and Chaartaar on stage as a session musician, Milad decided to focus on original music with Farsi lyrics and asked Dang Show co-founder, Taha, to take over vocal duties. Most of TSOS EP was written in their first writing session in February 2022 and released in November 2023. What defines Dus-Tun's sound is an appreciation of the Persian language as well as Western Electric riff-based music. The style falls anywhere from Psychedelic rock to Doom and stoner metal with classical Farsi poetry and/or original lyrics.
