Dusknight

Emerging from the vibrant electronic music scene in Providence, Dusknight (Julio E. Berroa) draws inspiration from various genres, including Hip-Hop, Lo-Fi, House, Techno, Hyperpop, Trap, and music of the Queer Afro-Latine diaspora. His performances include bass-heavy House, Techno, Bounce, and Jersey Club, as well as various Dance Music.

In 2019, Berroa created Dusknight and released his debut album, “Waverider,” on Bandcamp and other streaming services. He followed it with “Waverider: The Stargate Edition” in 2021 and a series of seven singles compiled into the 2023 EP “STORED.”

In 2024, Dusknight collaborated with <a href="spotify:artist:5Ygdv3aP8SfGNU1PDFHrlM" data-name="Kufa Castro">Kufa Castro</a> on “Multiverso (Defiance Edition)” and released “dontstopsohot.” In 2025, Dusknight collaborated with <a href="spotify:artist:2GIDvAUAzFlpjflD3FlQdq" data-name="YUNG ONYX">YUNG ONYX</a> on &#34;SO THICK&#34;.

Berroa’s passion for music and art drives him to DJ at venues like the Providence Eagle and events like Fascination Kink, and he’s a member of PYXIS, a collaborative electronic music performance studio in Providence. He’s also the founder and Executive Director of Haus of Codec, a Providence-based organization dedicated to creating safer and more accessible housing, care, and essential services for displaced transition-aged youth. Berroa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Degree in Digital Media Curriculum and Photography from Rhode Island College.
