Dust From The West

Dust from the west is a rock band based in Bordeaux, France. The duo formed by young drummer and musician Sam, and singer and guitarist Matt started in 2019 on the french west coast. At seventeen, Sam leaves the country to study in Philadelphia and discover the American culture. He quickly start to collaborate with local artists, and dedicates most of his time improving his guitar and drumming skills. For a year the two musicians set a creation process from afar to continue working on their compositions. As soon as they reunite, the duo is dead set on recording its first EP, made of four tracks. To do so, they decide to call Francis Caste, real “druid” of Parisian Rock’n’Roll and record in the legendary Sainte Marthe Studio in the heart of Belleville. The duo also contacted Rek the wizard from the D4rk rec label, to add mysterious and gloomy atmospheres, as well as vintage synths and slide guitars from hell to reinforce the production of the EP.
Back from the West, the band is ready to rock their riffs all over the world…
