Dust are Ralph Lamb , Andrew Ross (AKA The Easy Access Orchestra) and Adam Phillips.
Their eponymous debut album "Dust - A Dirt-Track Odyssey" feels like the soundtrack to a cult movie set sometime in early seventies California, Texas and anywhere in-between. Featuring long roads, big skies, ocean and desert, it is a melancholy story of love found and love lost, a story of acceptance, a story of hope, played out as a slow moving psychedelic hippy road-trip adventure. One of those all time classics that only those that know, know.
The music is Floyd, America, Lennon, Beach Boys, Beatles and all that good stuff.
First released in 2002 it was well received by the UK music press. In 2011 "I'll Take You There" provided the perfect theme tune for Aliki (Jason Sudeikis) in the comedy TV series Portlandia and introduced a whole new audience to Dust.
