20 year old upcoming LA Artist, DV (<a href="spotify:artist:1R7iEyKVJx2WYOIRxSvxYM" data-name="D5">D5</a>), decided to take his passion for music to the next level in 2020.
Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, California, DV had a deep love for music at a very young age. Despite the gun violence, poverty, and drug dealing that wreaked havoc in his community, young DV decided to maintain focus and express himself in music. His first song "Jetski", which was recorded in early 2020 on a broken mic in his bedroom has now earned over 24K streams on SoundCloud. "I'd never really thought about becoming a recording artists," he stated, "but after receiving so much good feedback from that Soundcloud joint, I just kept having fun with it." He found inspiration through his past adventures and life lessons, which motivated him to create his hit single "Fiji." Young DV aims to promote fun and enjoyable music with his melodic flows and individual style on tracks like "Good Karma".
