Dwayne Pugh

Born and raised in the Queen city of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dwayne grew up with the dream of one day owning his own recording studio and becoming an award-winning engineer and producer. He was mentored by the late Johnnie Wilder, Jr., former lead singer of the band Heatwave (Boogie Nights, Always and Forever, Groove Line, etc.) and trained with the platinum audio engineer, Jerry Lane for what he thought would be a career behind the scenes in the music industry. Coming from a musically inclined family, he started singing in church at the age twelve and began writing and recording his own songs as a hobby that soon would turn into a passion.
Through his religious upbringing he was introduced to the mysteriously enchanting sounds of vocal music (acapella). This first-hand experience of seeing (and feeling) how the simplistic purity of the human voice could move people to another space in time was mesmerizing. He witnessed this same phenomenon through soul and R&B music.

Through some mutual acquaintances he connected with platinum Music Producer, Dave DeBerry of Camp David Media. They found musical common ground and began collaborating with other platinum Music Producers like Dave Anthony and Flave. Creating music that was good to the people AND good for the people has stayed at the helm of their efforts. These collaborations have led to many others with many award winning artists. The next chapter for this artist, songwriter, producer, engineer seems to just be getting started.
