Dwayne's childhood was far from the typical upbringing of a musician. Growing up in a working-class council estate, the idea of boys pursuing music was frowned upon. However, Dwayne refused to conform to societal norms and instead pursued his passion for music. He began taking keyboard lessons and honed his skills, performing in local pubs and clubs in Leicester during his formative years.

Upon reaching adulthood, Dwayne's dedication to music led him to pursue further education. He enrolled in university to study art, music, and drama, where he continued to flourish and develop his musical talents. Following this, he became a teacher, where he endeavoured to instil his love for music in young people from diverse backgrounds.

Dwayne adeptly composes, plays, and produces his own music, often incorporating innovative technology to experiment with new sonic landscapes. His music serves as a genuine expression of his creativity and unwavering determination. Throughout his career, Dwayne has emphasised the significance of staying true to oneself, both in music and in life. He encourages others not to succumb to the pressures of following popular trends or emulating the choices of others.
