DX-Digital

DX-Digital is a Synthwave/Retrowave/Post Boogie/Smooth Jazz artist from Austria, now living in Berlin. Trained in classical/jazz piano with a university degree, specializing in funk/fusion/jazz he started with electronic music as a ghost producer and made the transition to being an electronic artist by discovering the retrowave and synthwave genres. In 2018 he bought a DX-7 synth and started getting into FM-Synthesis as the base for future productions. Not much more than the good old DX-7, Ableton Live, a handful of plugins and a Boss Chorus Pedal, the first Ep&#39;s were in the works. The first one: <a href="spotify:album:6kXBnpu53u5bqhZEScJvFI" data-name="Taking Off">Taking Off</a> was released 2018 followed by <a href="spotify:album:5HNEo9en0lo72x3EtIJwMd" data-name="Sax Trax">Sax Trax</a> (which featured some of the hottest funk players in town) in 2019 and <a href="spotify:album:3XLy2tq5R90V3EgmQNJwQ0" data-name="Berlin Nights">Berlin Nights</a> in 2020. New releases include featurettes with the incredible singer <a href="spotify:artist:1lVMiZc1IDfSCj99CtmDFx" data-name="Manivi">Manivi</a> - who was featured on: <a href="spotify:album:0EGwPg7X8bf8187t7CAkpF" data-name="Mind Game">Mind Game</a> and <a href="spotify:album:5Yx0irYOjlXczlx1S02Egp" data-name="All Night">All Night</a>. In 2021 <a href="spotify:album:7jpvT8cGaBEScBVSkzfRyJ" data-name="Pacific Ryder">Pacific Ryder</a> was released online and on vinyl/cassette/minidisc/CD featuring several tracks with the great saxophone players <a href="spotify:artist:6f5MKCIiP2EdmXksSzqKVo" data-name="Omri Abramov">Omri Abramov</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1K6ims49HzqGZMb6yjJpZb" data-name="Vladimir Lebedev">Vladimir Lebedev</a>...Just released a new collab with &#64;LUCIE called <a href="spotify:album:2UI8g5tNjtawQ3sExHrhkI" data-name="Shut Up">Shut Up</a>
