DXWAVE is a South Korean artist active as a DJ, producer, and musician. The name is a combination of “DX,” an abbreviation for Digital Transformation, and “WAV,” a file format for loops or samples, as well as “WAVE,” symbolizing movement or sound.

Embodying the philosophy that “music connects the past and present,” DXWAVE crafts all music by arranging and reimagining loops and samples. Combining music with visual engineering, DXWAVE initially worked as a guitarist in musicals and studio recording sessions before transitioning to a DJ/producer role in 2020.
