Made up of two, Rachel and Caleb, dyadd fuses dreamy and ambient sounds together, floating on the back of movement-driven beats and poetic lyrics to create an unforgettable escape into the depths of the hearts of two creatives.
Written, recorded, mixed, and produced in their own studio, dyadd released their debut abum, Vapor, in 2017.
Effloresce, their second record, builds on Vapor's ambience, building strength, complexity, and courage while embodying the meaning of the album name: to burst into bloom; to blossom.
Cynosure, released in 2022, is a sweeping soundscape that's heartbreakingly raw and openly intimate.
About Oneironaut, their lastest release:
"During one of the busiest times in our lives, we wrote Oneironaut. Experimenting with sound and our creative process, each worked separately when able, building on each other’s vision until our songs reached completion.
Virtually wordless, but not without story, they are each almost “stream of consciousness”, often flowing from first takes, void of second guesses that can so seriously stall the birth of a song.
When you listen, we hope you find your story, your journey in the music. We all have dreams, hopes, expectations, disappointments, darkness, grief, the rebirth of hope, and coming back to where we were when we started, finding ourselves changed, full of answers, but also questions.
