Dylan is a Cape Town-born singer/songwriter who plays multiple instruments and has been performing professionally since 2016. Currently, he’s studying IT at Rosebank College while performing at public, private and corporate events.
When playing live, Dylan generally plays various covers, spanning multiple genres. However, his original music leans towards a combination of funk, blues, folk and pop.
Dylan has just released the single, “My Love” featuring Don Vino on the saxophone.
He has also released an album, titled First Take, of original 12 tracks in 2019.
Most recently he’s opened for Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse, shared the stage with the likes of Biggy, Springbok Nude Girls, Loufi, Loki Rothman and others at the Head For The Hills event, as well as opening the Jazzathon 2019 at the V&A Waterfront. Dylan has attained Grade-5 in Music Theory, certified by The London College of Music, as well as achieving his certification in Digital Marketing, Social Media and Web & Graphic Design.
Coming Soon: Dylan will be joining Don Vino on the Grand Arena stage for Saxxy Vibes alongside many of Cape Towns favourite acts! Dylan also has some more music set to release later this year and he is currently in studio working on even more!
Dylan’s current short-term goal: To produce more quality tracks, do more collaborations, and to travel more with his music and perform in many new and exciting spaces and stages.
Dylan’s long-term goal: To perform at Madison Square Garden.
