Toronto-based alt-rocker DYLYN (aka Gwendolyn Lewis) is back with her first single in two years, “Drown.” Listen to the pummelling track that fuses raw, rock ‘n’ roll energy with edgy pop hooks.
DYLYN describes “Drown” as “a burst of energy right out of the gate. It’s a wall of sound
about falling hard and fast for someone. The song is short and sweet with a death punch
that doesn’t let up and was one of the most fun to cut. I can’t wait to play this one live.”
“Drown” is the follow up to DYLYN’s debut album The Sixty90s released in October 2022.
Produced by Ryan Guldemond (of Mother Mother) and Parker Bossley (bassist for The
Mounties, Hot Hot Heat), the 13 tracks cemented her vision of a confluence of eras,
styles, and emotions. Now, DYLYN is gearing up for her next chapter, with the latest
single and a forthcoming EP set for May 16.
