Starting out like most in the industry, Matt’s (DYNMT) journey started with a love of music that quickly developed into a curiosity into how it was made. Self-taught to begin with, it wasn’t long before he was Producing which resulted in his tracks ending up cut to white label vinyls and sold in and around London in record stores. At the age of just 16 he received air-time on BBC Radio, Kiss 100, Hot96, Rinse FM and more.
During these years he continued down the route of a Producer racking up plays on BBC Radio 1, 1xtra and many more whilst also frequenting the likes of Ministry of Sound London and Privilege Ibiza where he worked as a Promotions Manager and even DJ at the iconic Brazilian party Warung.
Fast forward into the 2020’s and DYNMT is now overseeing the development of a stable of global electronic music talents and releasing his own sonic adventures simultaneously. With a release on Night Class Records ‘Lost At Space’ hitting the Beatport Techno charts and the follow up ‘The Park Down The Hill’ getting widespread support from the likes of Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules and many more – this is a project creeping up on the music world.
DYNMT’s musical philosophy does not slot simply into a genre box as from release to release you can only expected one thing – the unexpected. Making music for the love of the process – that’s the fun in it.
