Dystonal is a product when two cousins love electronic music and take on the challenge of producing music. Mikael lives in Kuopio and Severi lives in Birmingham, but that isn't an issue for workflow. The duo was formed in the summer of 2014, and it took 6 months to make their maiden entrance when the duo performed their first gig under this alias. It took almost 2 years for their first production to be released, which was an unofficial remix of Tiësto’s &amp; Don Diablo’s track Chemicals, in 2016. Dystonal also released another unofficial remix of Steve James’s track Renaissance. Their first official single Uncanny was released on 13th of July 2018.
