Originally started as a Thrash Band by 3 teenagers in an attic, Dystrict Of Insanity was formed in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on January 20th, 2018. Since their beginnings playing covers of The Misfits, their musical evolution that ensued shortly thereafter lead to a change in writing, as the members fostered a love for Heavier, Faster, and More complex forms of self-expression.
After many line-up changes, even having 6 members at one time, Dystrict Of Insanity currently consists of 2 members, Nikolai Bell, founding member and main instrumentalist, and Noah Harvey, vocalist and orchestrator. This Power Duo took it upon themselves to further their love for Technical Death Metal, Deathcore, and Heavy Metal, and mix it with a perfect blend of their own Classical Music Inspirations, with the likes of Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev.
Standing as a band that brings Technicality, Breakdowns, and a Quad Bass Drum setup, something Unique to bands of the East Coast, all of which ushers in Melody and Memorable Riffs. While bringing the new stylistic influences of Modern Metal to their skillset, with the likes of Shadow of Intent, Lorna Shore, and Inferi, the band also brings flavors of Older acts that served as inspirations in their Musical Journey, such as Iron Maiden and Death.
Dystrict Of Insanity continues to bring an onslaught of Brutality paired with Technical Prowess and Melody, Unique from bands of the Modern era of Heavy Music.
