Music from the quartet džeZZva from Murska Sobota coquettes with both, the tradition of the American jazz culture with elements of European classical music, and the influences of popular and south European folk culture. Very sensible communication and distinguished performance of four refined musicians does an exquisite job persuading even the most demanding or wide audience. Music from the džeZZva quartet, which consist of Dejan Berden (piano), Iztok Rodež (guitar), Tadej Kampl (double bass) and Miran Celec (drums), is based on their compositions, which sometimes include a hint of rearranged traditional songs. In their music, the quartet distinguishably merges the sounds of the Panonic melos with the sounds of other cultures. The cast has also managed to present themselves successfully abroad.

The band stepped noticeably onto the Slovenian music scene with their debut album džeZZva. The album was selected in top 20 best records by RTV Slovenia music editors. They have also put out a recording from the Hidden courtyard concert in Murska Sobota, titled Live From The Hidden Courtyard (2016), and the record from the previous year Sintur, which was selected one of the top 30 best jazz albums in the region.
