DZRT (or DZ) was raised in a musical household in Kingsland, Georgia and was drawn to music from a young age, singing in the church choir and learning to play guitar. In 2007, a cousin introduced him to FL Studio 7 and he became an aspiring producer. In college, he met the rest of his band, Mucho Info, and after college, they decided to pursue their music passion seriously. DZ's goal is to break lanes and stereotypes as a Black American male in the Latin music industry, and to pioneer a new sound through his production and vocals.
