With a welcome mix of tongue-in-cheek humor and dark, occult inspired instrumentals, Electronic producer E-boy Volkihar is an artist that refuses to be defined by one genre. From his hazy, horror synths and heavy bursting 808s, Volkihar aspires to be the heaviest and darkest producer in Ireland.
Getting his start in production producing for his friend LOWTAG , with CATCH ME , Volkihar began to spread out his sound among Witch House with his album Khaotic Strains to Wave and Minatory with Gradient Display and ShouldHaveExpected and began to develop a signature sound of heavy, thumping, metal-inspired bass production regardless of the genre he is exploring, because who is going to tell him he can't do it.
While continuing to produce for LOWTAG he has used various experimental techniques such as tape loops, toy instruments (such as casios and yamahas), field recordings, in addition to more conventional song structures and techniques to create a chaotic approach to his occult inspired music.
From Big Beat techno, to DnB, to Tearout to Trap and Hip Hop, E-boy Volkihar is a truly an unpredictable producer.
