Gabriel Lorenzo De La Torre, known as “E-Kove,” is a 21-year-old rising lyrical artist from Las Piñas City, gaining attention for his remixes. His latest, MILLION PESO BABY - Million Dollar Baby - Remix amassed nearly 500K plays across social media platforms in a week. The track’s double entendres and flow switches caught the ears of hip-hop fans nationwide.
E-Kove started young, performing at hip-hop events across Metro Manila at the young age of 14 years old. He became known for his hunger, performing anywhere he could. Every year, he makes his presence felt at local events, lineup or not. He also gained an early glimpse of popularity at the peak of Twitter usage in 2020, dropping freestyles, open verses, and covers. In 2023, he was a runner-up at Spotify’s KalyeX Manila Xypher despite being unprepared. He has also performed at Urban Gathering & Good Old Days, which are a series of events by TMP.
