EarthTone

EarthTone is a Q+ hip hop artist and producer who burst onto the scene in 2014 with his introspective cult classic "GMale". This debut release touched on the journey of a black gay man growing up in America and everything that comes with it. As a result EarthTone was able to garner a fan base that resonates with what his music and art stands for. His sound can be described as Hip Hop Soul bringing hard drums, soulful rhythms & melodies, and combining them flawless flows and high-grade penmanship. EarthTone has since expanded his art to writing and producing for other independent Q+ artists. He also started a podcast (The Herbal Tea Podcast) that provides a platform for the Q+ artist community and also highlights allies of the community and shares important information and resources. EarthTone also hosts an interview series that focuses on Q+ and trailblazers within the community. He has performed at countless music events including Pride celebrations across the nation. As you know, the queer community, in particular queer people of color, is a widely under-served part of our society and EarthTone has dedicated his art to reversing this narrative.
