Born on June 19, 1984, as Michael “B-Thang” Ross, known by his stage name Ec_Thangsta hails from
Aliquippa, a small town on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, known for its rough neighborhoods and resilient communities. Growing up as the second of three children in a challenging environment, B-Thang witnessed first-hand the impacts of street life, with his family entangled in the struggles of addiction and poverty.
