Echoplex

Echoplex is a modern rock/metal project forged from long arcs and hard resets. Originally formed in South Texas in the mid-2000s under the name Paradigm Shift, the band’s core members spent years apart—each exploring new musical modalities, creative disciplines, and ultimately building successful careers in big tech.

That distance wasn’t a detour; it was incubation.

Reunited as Echoplex, the project channels a deliberate fusion of nu metal, industrial, ’90s alternative, and modern metal into something both familiar and forward-leaning. The music reflects a world caught in recursive collapse—externally fractured, internally conflicted—while interrogating cycles within society, humanity, and the self.

Through Echoplex and their artistic hub/label Codex Collective, the band pursues evolution through sound: confronting chaos, extracting meaning, and pushing toward ascendency—musically, mentally, and philosophically.
