Eclipse is a talented lyricist, poet, ghostwriter, and music educator. A second generation musician with an ear for music, beats, patterns, metaphors, and word play, Eclipse was trained early in the art of music.
His professional music career began in 1998 when he joined a rap trio named Dark Alley. He quickly became a fan favorite and the main writer of the trio. In 2004 he left the group to go solo. In 2019, he founded his own label, Dark Squad Entertainment.
Eclipse is particularly gifted in writing lyrics that connect to the heart and the depth of the human experience. He serves as Director of Music Arts for a non-profit organization teaching children and families to express anger, sadness, dreams, powerlessness, and aspirations through rhythm and poetry.
He is passionate about assisting artists in growing in stage presence, songwriting, and musical arrangement. His work has been profiled on radio, FB interviews, Live Shows, and poetry readings. He is currently working to grow both his music and his music arts program to a wider audience of people from around the globe.
He currently resides in Washington, DC.
