Ed and the Shadow Boys

Percussionist, arranger and composer based in Dunedin, New Zealand. My music is all about my experiences in my country of birth, Venezuela, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. My sound is a collection of street sounds with warm Latin Jazz melodies and rhythms.
The Shadow Boys are my state of mind (people call them my multiple personalities), I could not convince musicians to play latin music here in Dunedin, and then the lockdown happened, so I decided to play every instrument myself and sing my own songs.


Soy un percusionista, arreglista y compositor viviendo en Nueva Zelanda. Mi música expresa mis experiencias en mi país nativo, Venezuela, El reino Unido, Australia y Nueva Zelanda. Mi sonido es uno de la calle, jazz y fusion latina. Los Shadow Boys es en nombre artístico de la demencia que me dio después de haber tratado (sin éxito) de convencer a músicos para tocar AfroJazz ademas de la cuarentena de Nueva Zelanda, decidí tocar todos los instrumentos yo mismo (básicamente mi demencia de personalidades multiples) .
