Ed Laurie has toured and recorded both as a solo artist and with backing band Straw Dog. In 2006 'Meanwhile In The Park', Ed’s solo debut listed on iTunes top 10 charts around Europe, featuring the iTunes single of the week, 'Albert. Inspired by Albert Camus’ visionary novel The Outsider. Albert even attracted the attention of Camus’ daughter Catherine, culminating in a contribution to a new book. Ed was then signed in America by Beck producer Tony Hoffer.
A second album, 'Small Boat Big Sea' followed and was released to critical acclaim - Mark Radcliffe BBC Radio 2: “To stand out these days as a singer songwriter you have to be doing something exceptional, and Ed Laurie is doing just that”
'Cathedral', Ed’s third album was released with V2. Critics drew comparisons to the Buckley's and Nick Drake, while a Rolling Stone poll in Germany voted it no 1 album of 2012.
