Eddie Huntley is a musician who cut his teeth in the coastal town of Scarborough, England. Starting moving in a professional direction in the cover scene covering songs and artists that then became his influences such as Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, ACDC and Stevie Wonder. Later on setting a course for the blues of (or at least trying to) Howlin' Wolf, Clapton, Mayer etc
Ed - Music is important to me for two major reasons. First and foremost its fun, and secondly it gives me an outlet for my creativity. It's a wondrous thing to play on a stage and have the crowd 'feeling it' and living fully in the moment.
Universally I find that music sort of just happens, and thankfully it happened to me. It started with a few lessons in school that never really went anywhere leading to years later me buying a guitar. I took real pleasure in attempting to learn and write songs. I honestly wasn't any good at expressing anything until I had music in my life, then I had an emotional rollercoaster all of my own to ride.
I don't have any idea what I'd do without music. I'm sure I'd get by but everything about me would just be kind of lesser to some extent. It provides purpose and understanding to life, every now and then I just find I've a need to stand on a stage and scream at everyone from it.
I can truly state that I have no idea where my lyrics come from, they kind of just happen and I don't argue with them. I hope you find your own pleasure in the songs, they come from a good place. Eddie x
