Eddie Kaine was born and raised in Bed Stuy Brooklyn. Growing up in a musical house hold, his father a DJ and his mother the lead singer in her choir, his love of music was discovered instantaneously. The youngest of 3, he was exposed to numerous genres of music from his siblings as well. Initially he grew up with hoop dreams, wanting to play basketball and quickly made a name for himself. Unfortunately it didn’t work as planned, leaving him to seek solace in the streets. Nonetheless, through turmoil and personal issues he always managed to find comfort in writing music, which provided him a sense of peace and calm. Performing at open mics and showcases all over brooklyn, Eddie was sure that music was his calling.
