The duo Eddy & Zino were born 23 years ago in Great Britain, and have moved with their Gambian mother between Norway and Nottingham and London since they were small. With family in both places, it was natural that they picked up musical references from both home countries that have left their mark on music. Most obviously - Norwegian texts with a strong English-language feel. At the same time, there is a large proportion of British urban music in the sound, in addition to hints of Gambia in the drum production. And if you listen really well... well, you hear something completely distinctive that is difficult to attribute to anything other than the two guys entirely on their own.
