Edvardsen/Brix is an improvisational duo based in Oslo. Consisting of Sveinar Edvardsen (pedal steel/guitar/electronics) and Andreas Vind Brix (bass guitar). The duo plays music which draws influence from genres like ambient, drone, noise, new age, psychedelia and classical music.
Despite only being two musicians, they're able to create massive soundscapes, due to their creative use of effect pedals and electronics. Their sound varies from simple, melodic themes to noisy antonal chaos, and everything in between.
