Carrying a forgotten legacy known as the “guitar hero,” Crowther is uniquely reinventing the term to have purpose and meaning in the modern era of music but doing so on his own terms, as well as with full independent success. Growing up, Crowther was grounded sonically in two areas of rock music: indie rock and bluesy hard rock. Both, in the year 2016, would have monumental impacts on him as an artist and largely influence his approach to guitar, which he picked up in the same year.

From 2017 to 2020, Crowther spearheaded his first project, known as Burban, which was an original rock band originating in Raleigh, NC. The band would come to an end with the onset of COVID-19 and would then spawn his solo career. Crowther’s first single, “Who The Hell (You Think You Are),” covered in guitar riffage, was released in June of 2021, followed by a myriad of guitar driven singles including “Snake Groove,” “Mystery,” “California Cruisin’,” “High School Fever,” “Twenty,” and “Sunshine.”

His music, while largely rooted in classic rock influences, features a variety of genre pulls from pop punk to folk rock to his aforementioned influences from 2016. In combination, Crowther delivers to his fans a forgotten art form, curated in a new way that moves the rock genre and music landscape forward.
