Edward Doyle

Edward Doyle is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Charlotte, North Carolina. During his childhood in Marietta, Georgia, Doyle experimented with various instruments and developed his enthusiasm for music. A classically-trained pianist and vocalist, Doyle took the initiative to teach himself both the guitar and the drums. His wide range of musical talents is matched by an ongoing desire to learn and develop new sounds.

He recorded his first original song Sometimes in 2018, influenced and encouraged by college friend and artist, <a href="spotify:artist:7g7zY5D0fBeudV45tNRrwp" data-name="Julia Knepper">Julia Knepper</a>. Doyle has since recorded multiple other projects.

His first album, On My Own, arrived in February 2020. The well-received album was hailed as “One of the best albums of 2020” by influential music blog Ear To The Ground only a week after its release. Living up to its name, On My Own was produced after two years of writing, recording, re-writing, and re-recording in Doyle’s Tampa bedroom studio.

One month post-release, Doyle was offered a record deal for his sophomore album.

Other influences include <a href="spotify:artist:2CvCyf1gEVhI0mX6aFXmVI" data-name="Paul Simon">Paul Simon</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:60rNO7ymhlxcYxrdkDYq1k" data-name="Dylan LeBlanc">Dylan LeBlanc</a>.

Doyle’s passion for creating music sprung from his loves of listening and performing. Desiring to share his music with the world from a larger stage, Doyle pursues his vision with determination and a deep sense of gratefulness to his fans.
