Edwin “Madrigal” Ferreras, International Ambassador of Dominican Arts, was born in the Dominican Republic and at a young age moved to NY where he has since earned his BA in Music Education with a secondary concentration in Dance. He is currently a tenured, Master Educator for music and dance grades K-12 in the Department of Education, where he has worked for over a decade. In addition to being a scholar and educator, Edwin is also a musician, music arranger, producer, and music teaching artist.
 
Edwin travels around the world teaching and performing with his partner music and dance partner Dakhóta Romero.
