Eelco Van Zanten

Eelco van Zanten (1976, Amsterdam) has been writing, producing, releasing & performing music since the 90s, worked with several household names in the NL music business & played all the (small&big) festivals & stages in the Netherlands, some across Europe too.


Since 2019, van Zanten has been steadily releasing instrumental guitar music albums, all receiving great reviews from Gitarist Magazine (NL), who added van Zanten to their list of suggested guitarists-of-the-year in the funk/fusion/world category of the Benelux. Often praised for his uplifting, positive, melodic style of playing & writing. Some work featuring stellar guest appearances of Nathaniel Klumperbeek (bass), Richard Hallebeek, Juan Dhas, Brett Stine, Robb Cappelletto, Lars Posthumus (saxophone).

Summer 2025 brings in a new project 'Eel Fusionkasteel', a 14 track melodic Jazzrock Fusion adventure with Yoràn Vroom (drums), Itai Weissman (EWI) & Nathaniel Klumperbeek (bass).
