Eemrun, is a genre-blurring artist from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia whose music lives between vulnerability and vision. With roots in hip-hop and R&B, he began crafting songs at just 13, long before anyone was listening, using music as a quiet refuge for emotions he couldn’t always say aloud. In 2021, he introduced himself with “Emosi”, a heartfelt release inspired by his personal loss. The track marked his first step into the commercial space under Universal Music Malaysia, though he later chose independence—an artistic decision that let him create without compromise.

In 2022, Eemrun released BadNeighbourhood, a shadowy, introspective EP exploring solitude, self-doubt, and inner conflict. It set the tone for what would become his most defining body of work. Released in April 2024, SUPERNATURAL captured the tension between growth and grief, ambition and intimacy. With standout tracks like “CARI AKU”, “HANTU”, and “BILA LAGI?”, the album threaded raw emotion through sleek, modern production which resonating deeply with listeners navigating their own quiet battles.

As part of the MIDLYFE collective and LAMPU BIRU movement, Eemrun weaves his voice among a growing tapestry of local talent, shaping a sound that’s rooted in Malaysia but speaks beyond borders.
