The Belgium-born, Canadian, New York-raised, and Tennessee residing artist (a mouthful, we know) first began her musical endeavors in the second grade, when she started piano lessons. She found herself constantly replacing her practice repertoire with her own original melodies, and by fourth grade, she had fallen in love with writing her own lyrical pop songs. In 2016, at the age of 17, she relocated to Memphis to pursue a college education in Music Business. Around this time, she adopted the artist name EEZABELLE (the phonetic spelling of her commonly mispronounced given name, Isabelle). Drawing inspiration from the likes of Halsey, Noah Cyrus, Demi Lovato & Hozier, she explores the complexities & controversies of toxic religious culture in her new music. Singles like “The Perfect Child”, “Alexa” and “Send Me Straight to Hell” give a taste of EEZABELLE’s sophomore EP, Temptation, which released 11.4.22.
