Efkan Şeşen was born in Istanbul in 1963. He spent six years of his youth as a prisoner of the fascist military junta. Throughout his lifetime, he has actively participated in fighting for human rights, democracy, and freedom. His character, attitude and spirit of resistance are reflected in his songs and albums. Producing, opposition songs and siding with the people.

His new album “ID”, consisting of his new songs translated in nine languages, met with his listeners on all digital music platforms on May 1, 2021. He releases single songs from time to time, and his third whistling album, consisting of world popular melodies, "Colours and Whistles Vol.3" was released on all digital stores and platforms on April 30, 2024.
