Profesyonel müzik hayatı geçmişi, 7 yaşında başladığı konservatuvar keman eğitimine dayanan Ege Günay, yıllarca grup projeleri ve Türk Pop, Rock müziğinin önde gelen isimlerinin orkestralarında bulunduktan sonra, 2016 yılında kendi grubu Tramvay ile ilk albümünü çıkarmıştır. Bu süreçte birçok projeye ve filmlere müzik yapan Ege, ilk solo şarkısını ise 2020 yılında çıkarmıştır. Grubu ile daha çok Balkan – Pop sound’u işleyen Ege’yi, solo projelerinde ise tek bir janraya indirgemek pek de mümkün olmamakla birlikte, genel olarak Pop – Rock sound’unun ağır bastığını söyleyebiliriz.
Etkili ve hareketli sahne performanslarıyla öne çıkan Ege Günay, Türkiye çapındaki festivallerde sahne almaya devam ediyor.

Ege Günay, whose professional music career dates back to the violin education he started at the conservatory at the age of 7, released his first album with his own Balkan-Pop sounded band Tramvay in 2016 after years of group projects and being in the orchestras of leading names in Turkish Pop and Rock music. Ege, who made music for many projects and films during this period, released his first solo song in 2020. Although it is hard to place Ege under a single genre in his solo projects, we can say that the Pop - Rock sound is generally dominant.
He stands out with his effective and dynamic stage performances, continues to perform at festivals across Türkiye.
