Ego Divided

The story of Ego Divided begins in 2005, when guitarists Massimo Masi and Alberto Zimone decide to create a musical project to reinterpret their favorite covers. As the years go by, the band begins to grow, experimenting with the composition of new songs and defining its own identity. A crucial moment comes in 2012, with the entry of the charismatic vocalist Mauro Tagliavia, who enriches the group's sound with deep and engaging lyrics. In 2014, the band ventures into recording its first album, but the sudden departure of the bassist and drummer abruptly interrupts the work, leaving as evidence only two tracks, "Source" and "Fearless Reason", published online. The tenacity and passion of the group lead to the reconstruction of the lineup in 2018, with the arrival of Elio Lao on drums and Alessio Lopes on bass. This new energy allows Ego Divided to complete and release their debut album in 2024, available on all major streaming platforms. In 2024, Elio Lao leaves the band, and the talented Phil Spinelli (drummer of Tol Morwen) is hired to contribute to the new recordings.
