EGO FALL is a nomadic metal band from Inner Mongolia, known for blending Mongolian traditional elements—long-song, throat singing, and morin khuur—with modern metal. Formed in 2000, the band has released seven albums and become one of China’s most influential metal acts.
EGO FALL has performed over a thousand shows and toured across China, Asia, and Europe. They have shared the stage with Slipknot, Megadeth, Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Therion, and more. In 2014, they became the first Chinese band to appear at the Tuska Metal Festival in Finland, and in 2016 they completed a 12-country European tour—one of the earliest large-scale European tours by a Chinese metal band.
Their music explores humanity, nature, and cultural identity through a fusion of tradition and modern power. After their 20th-anniversary tour in 2024, the band officially adopted the name EGO FALL to mark a new chapter.
