Hey guys it’s Ego, here’s some of my backstory. I’m from Pasadena, TX, growing up I initially listened to a lot of EDM and Dubstep including the likes of Excision and Borgore, then heard the song Look At Me! From <a href="spotify:artist:15UsOTVnJzReFVN1VCnxy4" data-name="XXXTENTACION">XXXTENTACION</a> and instantly became a fan of rap. Of course I heard some rap songs here and there but I never sought after it but as soon as I heard X I was really introduced to the genre, and he of course became one of my biggest inspirations along with <a href="spotify:artist:4MCBfE4596Uoi2O4DtmEMz" data-name="Juice WRLD">Juice WRLD</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4O15NlyKLIASxsJ0PrXPfz" data-name="Lil Uzi Vert">Lil Uzi Vert</a> , and <a href="spotify:artist:2kCcBybjl3SAtIcwdWpUe3" data-name="Lil Peep">Lil Peep</a> influencing me heavily as well as I loved how they were able to depict their emotions which to me really resonated and put words to things I never thought I could explain. I always loved music but I never considered myself talented or able to make it until I was inspired by someone I’m glad to call a friend , <a href="spotify:artist:2iVa4byUXfMY6V1N8qLNwZ" data-name="Izack Paz">Izack Paz</a> , who had been making music since around 2017 and one day I told him we should make a song together. That’s when <a href="spotify:track:0QtOLJsmj7REMDIXHPPsMu" data-name="cant stop!">cant stop!</a> Was born, to me that song means a lot because it was a huge improvement compared to my earlier work and it was my first collaboration as well. Fast forward to today where I just dropped EGOMANIAC and I’m really proud of how it came out shoutout to <a href="spotify:artist:2iVa4byUXfMY6V1N8qLNwZ" data-name="Izack Paz">Izack Paz</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5pnVyoU5YygdiRpP9qjlLJ" data-name="lil $tuz">lil $tuz</a> , and KARL for being on the album.
