egoistic 4 leaves is a Japanese instrumental six-piece band formed in 2002 with its configuration of a keyboardist, guitarist, bassist, percussionist, and two drummers. After some rotations, they released their 1st album “aluva” a decade later in 2012. Each players' broad backgrounds ranging from jazz, punk, latin, afrobeat, house to metal enabled genre transcending tracks with deeply linked diversified rythm structures and intricate melody elements. These nine “long and tangled, but catchy and time-warping” songs achieved domestic recognition.
In July 2020, their sophomore album “debris” was released from THANKS GIVING. It reflects their inspirations and experiences through the eight years of individual performances.
