Paris “Eightee Rite” Anderson was born August, 29 1989. He was raised on the east side of Akron, OH. Growing up in a single-parent household, Paris was forced to mature fast due to the fact that he was the oldest of 3 brothers. His biggest dream was becoming a professional basketball player, which faded after he graduated from East High School in 2007. He began writing rhymes in his notebook at the age of 13 with the inspiration of artists such as Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Fabolous. When his hoop dreams faded, Paris began to feel lost, and his pursuit of happiness caused him to turn to the streets to keep money in his pockets. Paris later realized what type of example he was setting for his younger siblings by turning to the streets, which influenced his decision to attend college at Kent State University. There, he quickly got involved in cyphers and talent shows to express his skills. Although he planned on succeeding academically, he also saw his education as a great opportunity to enhance his lyrical wordplay and versatility. He eventually graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, but he concluded that something was still missing, which is the fulfillment of his music career. Although he had a college degree, his lack of work experience and consistent focus on his music made it difficult to find a good job after graduating. His constant growth and continuous hunger for opportunity is the fuel to his musical drive.
